Mitigating the Human Side of Cyber Risk
People aren't perfect, and neither are traditional cybersecurity practices. It is estimated that human error contributes to 85-90% of data breaches. Even with solid cybersecurity practices in place, industry research has shown up to 87% of security leaders believe their organization is falling short in addressing cyber risk.
In this whiteboarding session, Arctic Wolf's Director of Presales Engineering, Jim Johnson will break down the steps a "bad guy" goes through when executing a common breach strategy that we all know as phishing or a business email compromise attack. Then, we will look at what steps are taken to mediate an attack and why organizations need to rethink their traditional security practices.
